0 Preface
Distribution automation is a comprehensive information management system integrating computer technology, data transmission technology, control technology, modern equipment and management. Its purpose is to improve power supply reliability, improve power quality, provide quality services to users, reduce operating costs, and reduce the labor intensity of operators.
With the continuous development of power networks, the continuous increase of power load, various new types of loads continue to emerge, users pay more attention to power quality issues, but also put more stringent requirements on power quality. Users need more effective power monitoring and management solutions to meet the challenges of these changes in order to achieve continuous, reliable, efficient and low-cost operation of the distribution system. This paper introduces the application of power monitoring system in electrical appliance manufacturing through the construction of power monitoring of Shenyang Changbai Electrical Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
1 Project overview and construction goals
Shenyang Changbai Electrical Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd. covers an area of ​​24,000 square meters and a building area of ​​12,710 square meters. There are 240 employees, including 40 engineers and technicians, and 8 senior titles. The registered capital is 20 million yuan and the fixed assets are 30 million yuan. 70 sets (sets) of various types of machine tools and test equipment, see Figure 1. Among them, including the most advanced CNC shearing machine, CNC bending machine, CNC turret punching machine, CNC laser cutting machine, bus forming machine and various electronic control product inspection equipment. In this power monitoring system, the monitoring requirements mainly include the following aspects:

1) The system is required to accurately detect current, voltage, active power, reactive power, active energy, reactive energy, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and switching status. 2) The system is required to transmit the equipment operating status and fault information in a timely manner. 3) The system is required to be able to alert various information by setting. 4) The system is required to display the operational information of each part on the spot.
2 Design of power monitoring system
In the design of the monitoring system, it is necessary to fully consider the actual needs of the customer, as well as the actual structure of the power system, the actual load capacity of the power system, etc., and then rationally select the monitoring equipment, which is beneficial to reduce the cost of the system operation, and also Conducive to the realization of system functions.
The power monitoring system of the project can realize real-time monitoring of the low-voltage distribution circuit in the substation, which is beneficial to power management. On the other hand, the power monitoring system can not only accurately indicate the power consumption status of the circuit, but also has the functions of network communication, etc., and can be combined with computers, protocol converters, etc., to timely display the operation of each distribution circuit in the plant. State, when the load of the power system in the factory exceeds the standard, the power monitoring system can quickly alarm and issue a voice prompt. In addition, the power monitoring system can also generate statistical information such as reports and graphs, so that relevant personnel can analyze the power consumption status of various parts in the factory, and make the electricity activities in the factory more safe, thus ensuring the safety of personnel in the factory and improving the plant. 2.1 System structure According to the distribution situation of the new factory's power distribution, the online monitoring system construction adopts a layered and distributed structure. The system includes: station control management layer, network communication layer and field equipment layer. System network structure as shown in Figure 2:

The station controls the management personnel to directly interact with the computer for human-computer interaction, calculate, analyze and process all kinds of data information on the collected site, and reflect the operation status of the site in the form of graphics, digital display, sound, etc., which is the most Upper part. Mainly consists of system software and necessary hardware equipment, such as industrial grade computers, printers, UPS power supplies and so on.
The equipment used in the communication layer is the serial port link protocol converter of the industrial computer. This layer is a bridge for data information exchange. It is responsible for collecting, classifying and transmitting the data information returned by the field devices, and at the same time relaying various control commands of the host computer to the field devices.
The field device layer is mainly connected to various types of instruments used for electrical parameter acquisition and measurement in the network, and is also a basic component necessary for constructing the power distribution system. On-site configuration of low-voltage instruments, motor protection, and electrical fire detectors from Encore Electric. Realize the electric parameter monitoring and protection action information detection of three-phase current, three-phase voltage, frequency, power, four-quadrant electric energy of each circuit, and monitor the closing state of each circuit breaker.
2.2 Network Design The network system in the power monitoring system can transmit data in time and quickly transmit operational commands, which is the basis for realizing the functions of the power monitoring system. Each device in the field is connected to the bus in situ, and then all the buses are connected to the communication gateway to realize the transmission with the host.
2.3 monitoring system software function design
The system is designed according to the actual needs of the customer, and realizes the display of the main wiring diagram interface, as shown in Figure 4; electrical parameter telemetry and electrical parameter over-limit alarm; event recording; system operation abnormal monitoring; fault alarm and operation record; And printing; system load real-time, historical curve, user rights management and other main functions, as shown in Figure 3.

2.3.1 Data collection and processing
Data collection mainly includes analog quantity and digital quantity acquisition. The analog acquisition is mainly to collect the line voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency and other information. The collection of the switch quantity is mainly the working state of the circuit breaker, the isolating switch, the grounding knife and other equipment, and the power failure protection. The alarm information such as running faults is collected to realize local real-time display of remote data. The data processing mainly displays the electric parameters collected as required in real time to the user, and achieves the automation and intelligent requirements of the power distribution monitoring, and simultaneously stores the collected data into the database for the user to inquire.
2.3.2 Data Recording
The data recording function of the power monitoring system is mainly to record the switching state of the circuit breaker and the sequence of protection actions. It requires sufficient memory space in the system, so that the data information is recorded and stored for a long time. Secondly, the data recording function of the power monitoring system also includes recording the fault information, that is, recording and storing the real-time current, real-time voltage and the like when the fault occurs, as shown in FIG. 5. It can be seen that the data recording function can accurately reflect the problems existing in the system by recording the working state of the protection device and recording the fault information, thereby facilitating the staff to solve.

2.3.3 Power Management
In order to realize the supervision of the electricity consumption of each circuit in the factory, the system designed the power management report. The system automatically generates the daily report, the monthly report and the annual report and has the report printing function by collecting the active energy and according to the different circuit names. And can query the power consumption in a certain period of a certain loop, as shown in Figure 6. It can help the property to establish an effective energy management assessment system. Through the construction of the system and the establishment of the system, the awareness of energy conservation of the resident managers has been greatly improved, and energy consumption has been effectively saved.

3 Significance of applying power monitoring system in power supply and distribution design
In summary, the power monitoring system helps the power unit to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and reduce operating costs. The power monitoring system can effectively ensure grid management efficiency, reduce power operation costs, and become an indispensable component in power supply and distribution design. section. The power monitoring system's communication, fault alarm, data storage and record functions make the staff more convenient in actual work. They can directly understand the operating status of the power system through the man-machine interface, and can quickly transmit the operation commands. The data transmission of the equipment is realized through network transmission. Therefore, different power monitoring systems can design different networking modes to ensure that data information can be transmitted quickly and accurately. On the other hand, in the power supply and distribution design, the power monitoring system should be used, and the monitoring equipment should be selected according to the actual situation. Generally, power monitoring systems usually use devices with functions such as remote communication, remote observation, and remote control, while some high-end power monitoring systems require smart devices with more complete functions. Setting up a power monitoring system in a factory building and other places can realize real-time monitoring of the low-voltage power distribution circuit in the plant, which is conducive to power management.
