When the handle is placed in the inflating position, the pressurized air enters the pneumatic control shut-off valve through the reversing valve, so that the pressurized air enters the air spring through the additional air chamber, and the additional air pressure of the air chamber is transmitted to the digital pressure gauge through the pressure sensor, and the pressure gauge is The digital form shows the pressure of the air spring.

When the pressure of the air spring reaches a certain value, the handle of the reversing valve is placed at the pressure maintaining position, and the inlet and outlet passages are cut off. When the reversing valve handle is placed in the exhaust position, the intake passage is cut off, the exhaust passage is opened, and the additional air chamber and air spring pressure air are exhausted from the exhaust port.

Types and Structures of Air Springs Currently, there are seven types of air springs installed on speed-increasing vehicles: the SYS600 air spring for the 209HS bogie and the SYS600A air spring for the CW-2 bogie; SYS600G air spring for CW-200 bogie; SYS600F air spring for PW-200 bogie; SYS550C air spring for 206KP bogie; for SW-160 bogie SYS550D air springs for cars, hard cars, hard sleepers, dining cars, etc. and SYS640 air springs for SW-160 bogies (generators, luggage carts, etc.).

The above seven types of air springs have the following structural differences: (1) Different assembly types. The SYS600 air spring has 12 bolts between the capsule and the upper cover, while the other air springs are self-sealing. The capsule and the upper cover, the capsule and the lower seat are compressed and pressed into the assembly.

(2) The upper and lower vents are different. Since the additional air chambers of the 209HS and CW-2 bogies are on the bolster, the vents of the SYS600 and SYS600A air springs are above the air spring. The additional air chambers of the 206KP and SW-160 bogies are on the frame, so the vent of the SYS550C air spring is located in the lower part of the air spring, while the SYS550D and SYS640 air springs have one vent on the upper and lower sides. Tube, the lower part is attached to the air chamber.

Test and assembly method The transmission device drives the screw to move the plate and the additional air chamber up and down through the sleeve coupling and the worm gear drive pair. The air spring is installed under the additional air chamber, the air spring vent is facing upward, and the air is added. Center the vents of the chamber, insert a rubber pad between the air spring and the additional air chamber, and wipe all the contact surfaces clean. According to the model of the air spring, press the lifting button to adjust the indicator arrow on the adjusting plate to the specified height, then place the handle in the inflating position, so that the air pressure reaches 0.6MPa, then place the handle in the holding position to perform the airtight performance test. Observe whether the value of the air spring pressure gauge drops more than the specified value.

Test Bench Adjustment Plate Height Air Spring Model Bogie Model Scale Reading For bolt-sealed air springs, this test bench is only used for air spring air tightness testing. For the self-sealing air spring, the test bench is also used for the assembly of the air spring. The specific operation process is as follows: (1) Wipe the capsule mouth and the base seal with a damp cloth, place the capsule on the base, and use the capsule along the hand. The small mouth seal portion presses the capsule evenly, and then evenly taps the capsule sealing portion with a hammer or a nylon rod (or a bakelite rod) to firmly fit the base. (2) Wipe the upper cover and the capsule large mouth seal with a damp cloth, center the capsule big mouth and the upper cover seal so that the air spring vent is facing upward and centered with the additional air chamber vent. (3) Adjust the test bench adjustment plate to the specified height, and fill the air spring with 0.6 MPa of pressurized air to assemble the air spring and perform the air tightness test.

Airtightness test basis Since the air spring test rig is subjected to a strict airtightness test before leaving the factory, the leak of the test rig itself is negligible. In this way, when the air spring of the test air is tested on the test bench, the air spring is pressed within 0.6 MPa, and the pressure drop of the pressure gauge within 10 minutes must not exceed 0.01 MPa.

Conclusion The air spring test rig is developed based on the characteristics of air spring maintenance in the factory and vehicle sections. It is mainly used for assembly and air tightness testing during air spring maintenance. Therefore, the test bench strives for a simple structure, convenient operation and use, and can be easily installed according to the working site, and does not need to be connected by anchor bolts. However, with the further requirements of the air spring test on site, the test bench still needs to be improved and improved.
