In the first quarter of this year, the mining companies successfully completed the production targets set by the group, producing a total of 1.386 million tons of fine iron powder, an increase of 6.65% over the same period of 2010.

In the whole year, 5.65 million tons of iron fines were produced, a year-on-year increase of 8.57%; production of dolomite powder (blocks) was 680,000 tons, 5.5% higher than planned; production of silicon-manganese alloys was 13,459 tons, an increase of 6.1% over the plan; and company-wide operating income was realized. 5.86 billion yuan, an increase of 62.33% over 2009; a profit of 1.578 billion yuan, an increase of 240% over 2009.
