According to the report of the “Hu Chi Minh City Marketing and Marketing” website on March 17th, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group recently stated that the major earthquake in Japan on March 11 had seriously affected the export price of rubber in Vietnam. Prior to the earthquake on March 10, the export price of rubber in Vietnam was US$5,740/tonne. On March 15, it had dropped to US$4,200/tonne, and it fell by US$1,500 in five days.
