The low molecular halogenated hydrocarbons are gaseous at normal temperature, and need to be cooled and pressurized to be liquefied and recovered. The process is complicated, the safety risk is high, and leakage and explosion accidents are easy to occur, and the recovered high-pressure liquefied low-molecular halogenated hydrocarbons belong to the class 2 hazardous chemicals. There are higher requirements for transportation, storage and transportation. The polymer halogenated hydrocarbon is liquid at normal temperature, which is beneficial to the liquefaction recovery of the workshop. It belongs to class 3.2 hazardous chemicals and has lower molecular safety.

In addition, toluene is widely used as a solvent in chemical reactions and is widely used in synthesis reactions and extraction purification. Toluene boiling point 110 °C , lightning 4.4 ° C, explosion limit 1.2% ~ 7.0% (volume), flammable, for the use and storage are required Class A explosion-proof grade. In the original process, the product needs to be refined by using toluene as a solvent. After technical transformation, the directly synthesized product satisfies the quality requirements and does not require toluene refining. The workshop does not set up toluene storage tanks, and the workshop no longer uses toluene, which eliminates major hazards and reduces the occupational health hazard in the workshop and improves the overall safety of the company.

Finally, due to the elimination of the toluene refining process, the original suction filtration tank filtration and drying process were also cancelled. The organic solvent exposure operation was cancelled in the workshop, and the explosion-proof drying equipment was cancelled.
