Tongliao City in the eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region recently discovered a geothermal field that is close to a medium-sized scale. According to Wang Yulong, the chief engineer of the Fourth Hydrogeology and Engineering Geological Exploration Institute of Inner Mongolia, the temperature of the discovered geothermal well is about 45 degrees Celsius, which belongs to the type of sodium bicarbonate water.
