Inner Mongolia concentrates on rectifying the order of mineral resources development

According to the Ministry of Land and Resources of Inner Mongolia, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will carry out a three-month special rectification of mineral resources development to further standardize the order of exploitation of mineral resources, earnestly strengthen the management of mine geological environment, and promote green development.

The rectification operations mainly focused on the following five situations: First, prospecting rights and mining rights were set in nature reserves, geological parks, geological heritage conservation areas, and water sources; and secondly, investigation and mining were not conducted without an exploration permit or mining permit. Enterprises, units and natural persons exploiting cross-border exploitation and exploration rights holders who use mining exploration; thirdly, mines that have not been exploited in accordance with the approved development and utilization scheme, causing damage to mineral resources or damage to the geological environment of mines; and fourth, plans for undeveloped mine geological environment , Mines failing to deposit according to regulations and failing to pay deposits for mine geological environmental management, do not perform phased management or mines that fail to pass the inspection and acceptance of treatment projects in accordance with the treatment plan; Fifth, the mining right holders do not fulfill their statutory obligations and do not pay (pay) or Underpayment (excession) of mining rights fees, fees and mineral resources compensation fees.

The rectification campaign is divided into three stages, namely, the self-checking and processing stage of Qixian (city, district), the inspection and supervision stage of the coalition, and the supervision and inspection of the autonomous region. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the special rectification operations, the Inner Mongolia Office of Land and Resources established the Leading Group for the Special Renovation Action of Mineral Resources Development and issued the “Special Action Plan for Mine Resources Development in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region”, covering scope of renovation, work steps, remediation measures and work requirements.
