The φ127 reduction turbine drill is an important research content of the 863 project and postdoctoral project of Zhongyuan Oilfield. In order to test the applicability of the drilling tool to the ultra-deep small wellbore and the speed-up effect in the ultra-deep well section, the Zhongyuan Oilfield Drilling Engineering Technology Research Institute and China University of Petroleum (Beijing) jointly invested in the Northwest Oilfield Branch, which was drilled by the Central Plains Tarim Drilling Company. The φ127mm high temperature and temperature-reducing deceleration turbo drill and the PDC bit composite drilling speed-up test were carried out in the well of the TH12509 well in the Tahe oilfield, which was opened in the 5946-6314m section of the φ165.1mm borehole.
This test used two models of TDR1-127 and TRO-127 deceleration turbine drills. The test section of the TDR1-127 deceleration turbine drill is 5946-6247m, and the maximum temperature at the bottom of the well is about 150°C. The mudstone section of the Bachu Formation, the Donghetang Formation and the Kepingtage Group are drilled. The total time of the well is 203 hours. The footage is 301m, the average mechanical drilling speed is 3.59m/h. Compared with the rotary drilling of the upper adjacent section, the mechanical drilling speed is increased by more than 80%, and the well inclination is reduced from 2.66O to 0.33O when entering the well. It is quick to beat. The TRO-127 deceleration turbine drill test section is 6247-6314m, the well entry time is 70h, the footage is 67m, and the average mechanical drilling speed is 3.59m/h. Compared with the lower collar section rotary drilling, the mechanical drilling speed is increased by about 80%. .
