It has the characteristics of high sensitivity, fast response and stable performance. It is widely used in temperature measurement, temperature control and temperature measurement. Compensation, suppression of surge currents and other devices. However, when the conventional Mn-Co-Ni spinel thermistor material is used above 300°C, there is a serious aging phenomenon. Therefore, more and more researchers have turned their attention to the research of new high temperature thermistor materials. .
Xu Aimin, a researcher at the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, led his team to prepare Mg(Al1-xCrx)2O4 high-temperature thermal ceramic materials by doping Cr-doped MgAl2O4 material with high melting point and high chemical stability. The phase structure, conduction mechanism and temperature-resistance characteristics of the ceramic material were studied. The doped ceramic material is a cubic spinel phase isomorphous to MgAl2O4. By X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis, Cr3+ and Cr4+ are present in Cr in the ceramic material. The hopping conductance is performed between Cr3+ and Cr4+. Adjust the Cr content to adjust the electrical properties of the ceramic material; the ceramic material in the temperature range of 500-1000 °C decreases with increasing temperature, showing a good negative temperature coefficient characteristics; ceramic materials Ï500, B500/800, Ea500 The range of /800 is 2.67×103–3.72×107Ωcm, 6731–11886 K, and 0.581–1.025 eV, respectively.
