The linear differential temperature detector operates according to a wide range of thermal effects, and the point differential temperature detector operates according to a local thermal effect. The main temperature-sensing devices are an air capsule, a temperature-sensitive semiconductor resistance element, and the like.
The latter type of temperature-sensing detector is a differential temperature detector. The differential fixed temperature detector combines the two principles of fixed temperature and differential temperature and combines the structure of the two detectors. Differential temperature detectors are usually membrane-type or thermistor-type resistive type combined detectors.
