At present, there are more than 400 applications for mahogany furniture design patents in the city and 5 provincial famous brand products. After more than 30 years of hard work and accumulation, the mahogany furniture industry has developed into a large-scale, professional, scientific and modern industrial cluster. Last year, the city's mahogany furniture output value reached 1.383 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the national market share.
At the meeting, Feng Yurong put forward the following requirements on the preparation work for the next stage: First, raise awareness, develop ideas, promote the mahogany furniture industry to a new level, and promote the innovation and upgrade of Zhongshan furniture industry.
